BRINSCALL - OUR NEW LAYOUT

A small group of club members have built a new layout based on Brinscall Station. Our intention is to be able to run trains based on the history of the line from the 1900s covering the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, the LMS and British Railways up to the line's closure in the 1960s. The layout has been built to exhibition standards. Because of the individual nature of the area most of the buildings have been scratch built from old photographs.

The layout was exhibited at Brinscall itself in April 2025, where it generated a great amount of interest, and we have been invited back.
